Out with the old and in with the new! It took me a whole year to revamp this blog. I spent most of 2022 looking back on old posts and realizing that my message was not clear, and focused too much on following the structures of other blogs. Such as sharing DIY party supplies, amazon links, and recipes instead of explaining my strategies.
I started this blog because I wanted to share more than ten years of experience in putting together unforgettable parties. It is my goal to help you create moments that will live in your memory for many years to come. All while acknowledging that not everyone has an unlimited budget.
In order to plan and execute a party like no other, the most important thing to consider is the milestone you want to celebrate. In the many parties that I have helped plan and design, I learned that the smallest touches often have the most significant meaning. Once, a client of mine was getting married and had no father to walk her down the aisle. We tucked a medallion with a photo of him into the bride’s bouquet to keep a piece of her father there at the wedding itself.
Sometimes things don’t go the way we plan them and problems arise unexpectedly. As long as we are surrounded by the ones we love these minor troubles become nothing more than funny stories to tell later on. That is because when we celebrate anything, the celebration itself becomes a series of memories that last a lifetime.
PS: I’ll still share occasional DIY decorations and recipes in between my main posts. Contact me with any questions you may have and I will gladly share any tips I’ve accumulated over these years.
